It doesn't look like the actual passwords have been decrypted but the security questions and passwords have been stolen. Seriously not happy about this :(

Fraid so Housey. Everyone is going to know you have Cialis subscriptions and want to meet hot women in your area for kinky exchanges.

Lol. Everything I'm reading has Yahoo stating it looks to have been state sponsored.

So who we going then, Russia or China?

this is like the umpteenth time yahoo has been compromised is it not.

i lost my account the last time they were hacked, changed security question the lot so couldn't recover it. never bother with anything to do with yahoo they're a liability.

I used it as their Brompton bike group is well supported and they've helped me out with some issues. I've just shut down my account, I think I opened it after 2014 but still. I hope the group moves somewhere else now.

Yahoo's security had been absolutely crud for years.

My Dad's account got hacked two years ago and sent everyone an email saying he was stuck in Indonesia and to send him money. As he is getting on and so are his friends, a few of them did. :o

My account also has had so many attempts to compromise it over the years, luckily I had 2 step verification on it. This is even after changing the password.

I think the last straw was a couple of months ago when that Russian hacker put loads of details up online, so I just deleted it.

Ooh!

Maybe they can remind me of my Yahoo email address so I can finally log back into Flickr!:(

EDIT: Just saw the Flickr comments above. :D Yes people still use flickr. It's a great photo storage site for displaying work on the internet.
