Made me chuckle - expect presidential election season to be bat-**** crazy but this is so random.

NimbleRichMan Palmer Luckey wrote: “You and I are the same. We know Hillary Clinton is corrupt, a warmonger, a freedom-stripper. Not the good kind you see dancing in bikinis on Independence Day, the bad kind that strips freedom from citizens and grants it to donors.

“I reached out to the leaders of this community because I am doing everything I can to help make America great again. I have already donated significant funds to Nimble America, and will continue to do so. I need your help: For the next 48 hours, I will match your donations dollar for dollar. Donate $10 and I will match you by flying my jet a minute less. Donate a hundred and I will match you by skipping a glass of scotch. Donate a thousand and I will match by putting off the tire change on my car. Am I bragging? Will people be offended? Yes, but those people already hate Donald. They cannot stand to see successful people who are proud of their success.

“Let’s generate some success of our own. Make America great again with your meme magic, centipedes of The Donald!”
EDIT: Strike-through/bold added for emphasis

“It’s something that no campaign is going to run,” Luckey said of the proposed billboards for the project.

“I’ve got plenty of money,” Luckey added. “Money is not my issue. I thought it sounded like a real jolly good time.”

If we all needed another reason to laugh at Palmer and then swoon at his bank balance :p

Lol swear filter win :D.

He's looking rough for 24 . Then again i guess looks don't matter with that balance :D.

Shows how much money can influence everything though.

I imagine there's going to be other big names who aren't so obvious funding such things.

Also careful with the libel unless you're planning on supplementing his bank balance? :p.

LOL forgot about that - Ill add a quote!
Where does it say he's a white supremacist? The vast majority of Trump supporters aren't.
The company, Nimble America, he funds/writes for is AFAIA

Nimble America believes that America has been lead by poor leaders who have abandoned American principles and sold out all Americans. With the right leadership America will reverse its course towards mediocrity and globalism, becoming great again.

Positions:

- America First
- Smart Trade
- Legal Immigration
- Anti-Corruption

Doesn't look like a white supremacist group to me...

Sounds more like an America First (Britain First) type group than a White Supremacist group.

Whilst Clinton and Trump are both *****, it'd certainly be interesting to witness the political fallout that would ensue if Trump did win. It's about time things got shaken up over there.

I think there is a difference between shaken up and demolishing the entire thing and starting again from a position of hate and fear.

Trump's campaign may have worked back in the 50's or early 60's, especially if he substituted Communist for Muslim, but that was a period when it was considered normal to treat anyone other than a straight white Christian man as a second class citizen at best.

Title of this thread is just pure baiting/hype.

Where is the evidence for him funding a 'white supremacist group'.

He seems to be supporting Trump (and yes Trump is a massive ****), but that isn't the same as funding a 'white supremacist group'. The premise there in the OP is **** poor and doesn't have anything to back it up.

The trouble is, it *is* working to a worrying extent... :(

As if we weren't already in this position already?

We have morons aggravating literally every group of people against every other group of people, in a supposed bid to make the world more equal and nice...

There is far too much doublethink going on, and the result will be obvious, avoidable and unfunny.

Looks like the guy needs to cut down on hamburgers, rather than the number of minutes his private jet runs for...

TBH what I found most surprising was how rich he is. I hadn't realised Oculus was that successful.

Palmer Luckey is funding Trump’s racist meme machine
Palmer Luckey, who came into a personal fortune worth $700 million (£535 million) when his VR headset firm was bought out by Facebook, has admitted to backing an unofficial pro-Trump political non-profit called Nimble America that is powering the tsunami of white supremacist and other racist image macros that have plagued Reddit.
