How often do you guys ride? 7 days a week? Or just when you have the opportunity?

Recently I was riding every day due to my car being off road. Now it's back on road I tend to ride if it's sunny dry out and if I can skip the traffic. If I have a choice I wont ride in the rain really.

My friend has just did his CBT and is getting a 125 for the time being until he can do his full license. I'll probably ride around with him a little bit but doubt it would be a massively fun ride with a 125 and 600.

Can you do clutchless upshifts from 1st gear? I've only done them from 2nd+. I'm just asking as the neutral is in-between.

Yes, but you can't do it half-arsed or you get neutral. The Street Triples are very smooth for 1st to 2nd clutch-less shifts but not all bikes like it.

I don't recall having issues doing it on my 2008 SV650. The MT-10 and S1000R don't like it though.

Blackbird is not good for 1-2 clutchless.

Its finr in all the othet gears but first is like a huge clunk.

Trying to do it clutchless either sounds horrible, has you bouncing like a bucking horse or gives you neutral

Is clutchless harmful for the gearbox or driveshaft in any way? If done properly of course. :p

No.

I think it's the bigger engines that don't like it.

We've had family over all weekend but just manged to have a couple of hours on the bike, and managed to get the throttle open all the way! :D Only in 3rd or 4th gear and for a second or so at a time mind... :p But I'm definitely getting used to the power.

The front hasn't come up yet, although it felt like it was skimming the road in 3rd gear at a decent pace earlier...:D

5-6. Possibly only 1 for fun :p

It would be easier for me to take the car in to work, but I take the bike in just to keep learning.

I figure in the long term, I'll be a better rider by riding regularly and putting the miles in.

5-6 maybe 7 days a week. 5 of them for work but I never take the direct route home. Hopefully get a few day rides out the county with mates in this year yet as well

* the above all relies on the bike being functional :p

I commute on mine 4 days a week, all year round, unless there is actual snow on the ground (slim chance in Kent, maybe the odd day). Rarely get enough time on my days off to go for a decent ride as I have too much other stuff going on. So I make up for that by taking the long route to work!

This may have been announced a few days ago but I've only just seen it this morning, Drift are releasing an updated Ghost action cam. Imaginatively titled the Drift Ghost 4k

https://driftinnovation.com/products/drift-ghost-4k

I imagine that'll be priced up against the GoPro Hero 5 Session.

It was indeed a wind up, the guy is a member of a certain FB group that likes to see how many people they can wind up in other bike groups. UCC if anyone knows it.
