My question for today is ...How do 'you' reward yourself?

In before the dirty-minded.

Depends what for - day out in the garden or doing DIY then probably a beer and crash in front of TV. Satisfaction is seeing a good job done.

If a pay rise or completion of work on a large client then maybe take family out for a meal or get something for my PC or guitar kit, something like that.

It depends what I'm rewarding myself for :)

It might be a new bit of computer gear, or more commonly holding off watching a good film I've been looking forward to until I've done something and can sit down for a couple of hours without interruption :)

Case of Somersby Apple Cider, some thai take out and a movie on my big screen.... when all thats done ill call the 'little lady' over to stay the night...

I don't - I work because I have to, but I do whatever fun stuff I want because I want to and because I can.
I'm not a donkey who dangles his own carrot... I'm more like an otter, who finds any excuse to play along the way!

I used to do that, and then I realised that I wasn't rewarding myself and was just an excessive drinker. :p

I have a take-away once a week... Thats pretty much all I do to reward myself as part of my routine...

If I have to do something like study, then I'll reward myself afterwards with some Netflix or gaming time - maybe a few pints.

Otherwise I don't really need much justification to buy myself new toys. :)

Really depends on what the objective achieved was. For small things it'll just be simply having a nice relaxing day at home gaming or going out with the Mrs. For bigger things such as post graduate exams, successful assessments I'll treat myself to some new tech or a holiday. I don't really need to justify buying anything to anyone but I do see it as a reward and nice little motivator.
