Well sadly i though i registered the card but there is no proof. Bought from Overclockers back in May and shipped a month later when stock came in. I am well out of the 30 day window to register. Now my card has coil whine and freezes under load a bit then returns to normal and freezes.

Any advice on what to do please?

Just RMA it EVGA go by serial number on the card so even if you can't prove you bought new you can still use the guest RMA service.

Thank you for your reply. I have opened a ticket for support, so I hope it's a step in the right way to replacing it. I went with EVGA because I heard they are the best at RMA's. Really did not expect this and hope they are understanding.

Went with EVGA for the support, Then never registered for the support, What is the world coming too? :)

I had an EVGA 750W PSU (Which I never registered) which died on me, so I filled out a guest RMA. They were all extremely helpfull and I registered the old PSU and it had about 3-4 months left under warranty. I had a brand new 750W PSU in my machine with a turn around time of approx 7 days of filling in the RMA.

I don't think you will have a problem with not registering the component as long as it is in warranty according to the serial number.

Hope you get it sorted soon.
:)

I think you get 90 days to register your card to be eligible for all the support stuff. Warranty is 3 years whether you register or not.

Ok so in response, EVGA has approved an advanced RMA.. Which means I must have a credit card and approve collateral of 729.99 Euros. Is there a better way so that I still don't have to pay for shipping?

? Why do you have to pay £640?
EVGA offer an advanced RMA service where they'll ship you a new card first, then you return the faulty one to them. You pay them the price of the new card as collateral up front, then they refund it when they receive the replacement.

Your knowledge makes me redundant... I might as well go to the pub!
