No change please. It's fine just as it is.
But are you guys not moderating 1000s of signatures currently?
Edit: The rank system needs an overhaul. If the forum does change its theme then I vote basic rank system. Something like this.
Moderator
??
Senior member
Member
New member
??
profit?
Just add post count range for each rank.
Also, IF we could have our own avatars, I see some forums have a button or drop down thing on the avatars displaying computer spec. This could help answer questions posted regarding PC issues. Saves time and also saves people asking for your PC spec. I would like to see a little more info on our avatar bit too. We have currently:
joined
location
posts
Why not add- (if members want it displayed of course)
Xbox live GT
PSN GT
wii GT
Steam GT
Origin GT
Etc etc.
It makes sense as we are all members of a PC forum and pretty much all own a console of sorts.
Also.... Last thing I promise.
We have a vast membership. A great deal of us are specialists in a field of some sorts or have a great amount of knowledge on a certain subject. Why not have a rank or sub rank/specialist tag with that members subject. Example- myself would be Specialist Fishmonger and Butcher. Anyone with a question on those subjects could post and maybe tag me in it to view as I may not even be looking for a thread on butchery or fishmongering.
So how about tagging people in posts/threads. I see a lot in motors with [TW]Fox in thread title, mainly about BMWs. Allow tagging. Simples.
Im a Super Moderator on another large computer forum and have been for 6+ years, and while its not as big as this forum (60k members) i dont recall us ever having to remove somebody's avatar.
have the user panel and breadcrumbs stuck to top, so when we scroll down, we no longer have to go 10 scrolls back to the top!
Why not just hit the "Home" key, it's what I do. That said, it doesn't beat the sheer satisfaction derived from clicking the button and using the free scroll on my Proteus Core.![]()
Has work on this commenced, is it being actively worked on or been shelved?

We've got a crack team on it. As far as I know work is actively ongoing.
Some say he's solely responsible for Brexit and that he once punched a horse to the ground. All we know is he’s called Dave M.
Bumping this topic as I thought the @mention system would be good.
For example if you were replying to a thread and thought @EVH or @Dave M might be able to help they would get a notification.
