EVGA PowerLink for EVGA 10 series owners

Why don't they just move the power connections to the side of the PCB any way?

This, I have never worked out why the connectors are at the front rather than to the end other than I guess where people use supper short cases and no room due to card length.

What I want to see as well is cables that connect at 90 degree so they are slimline at the connection point. Why have them facing out when most people don't route them this way at all.

I should be eligible but have no interest in using one. Anyone want one for the cost of shipping?

I can see why its not default and you dont even need a small case for this to be issue with some gfx cards been over 11 inches now.

But agree on the power connectors been right angled. Im amazed this hasnt happened years ago.

hey ben i have 2 classy 1080s, can i apply for 2 power links?

Also looking at the power link when it was 1st shown, it had a red stripe with led evga logo

the next version is all black with removable adjustable connectors, which version is this?

The first version which we previewed at Computex was simply a prototype to gain feedback and file for the patent on the idea.

This is the finished version which will be shipping in November.

Of course we will be offering one for each of the cards you have, you might just have to pay a slightly higher shipping fee for 2 though. You simply need to register for this now. Product will ship in November.

Thanks
Ben

Nice, always good to get something extra. Will be requesting mine - presume as I picked up two 1080 FTWs i'm good for two of these?

Also, whens more stock of the SLI bridges coming - seems like whatever I do I just keep missing the boat on the 60mm stock... EK Blocks arrive today so its the last piece in the puzzle :)

You need first to register your products with EVGA here using the Sign UP button:

Then once logged into the site you can register for the promotion on this page:

Hope this helps
Ben

ahhh ok

edit: figured it out, had to register, upload the invoice, it would have been awesome if you guys had the original power link, the link with the red stripe and the evga led, would have looked super cool to match classified models, i think. but thanks anyway i applied for 2 links

but when i registered it did not ask for shipping payment, how do i do this?

Hi guys

Wanted to update as soon as I got shipping costs confirmed and they have come through this morning.

I am also sorry they are slightly higher than I first forecast (£10) Although they were less at the start of this week with the £ plummeting vs Euro.

All shipping to UK is:

1 unit =14.99 Euros ~ £13.50 in today's money.
2-4 units = 19.99 Euros ~ £16.10 in today's money

Not sure where we might be at the start of November when payment would be taken as based on today's rate

Of course the sign up alone doesn't mean you are obligated to take the unit as you can just not make this payment when the units are ready to ship.

Thanks
Ben
