Hi,

I've been looking for a call recorder that works for the S7 Edge. I've tried Automatic Call Recorder, ACR and Call Recorder by Iovekara but they all either say they can't record, or they record 0 seconds.

Automatic Call Recorder did work once with a voicemail, but then never again.

Is there a reliable one out for the S7 Edge?

I'm not rooted.

There is a trial version on xda to test it works before buying, as its quite pricey.
 
Hmmm, how strange, I've also heard of the other free ones working fine with the Exynos chip (which I have).

I've just given that one a go, but I'm getting the same issue - it'll say it's recording, but then the file is 0 seconds when the call is finished.
 
Are you rooted?

Mine behaves weirdly with all these call recorders. It'll say it's recording, but the file will be 0 seconds. It'll also sometimes randomly cut the call before it even starts, so I'll enter the number, dial and it'll drop immediately. All these issues go away when I uninstall the recorder.

Not rooted here, I even have the premium version.
 
Yep, I've tried all the different recording devices (mic, uplink and so on).

There are 2 issues which keep coming up. First is it'll drop a call immediately after pressing dial and it'll also record a blank file. Really strange.

I suppose something else might be interfering, although I can't think what.

Just checked and mine's set to record 'Mic' and it's definitely working. Just tested it.

Can't for the life of me work out what's going on with yours. Mine's even managing to start recording automatically on both incoming and outgoing calls. I never notice it, and never have to do anything to make it work.

Really strange.
 
Yup, tis strange as loads of people report all the other ones working as well on the Exynos chip, which I have.

I can't think what might be clashing either, none of my other apps use the dialer or the mic constantly.
