How to handle eBay buyer situation

Prepare your anus, I used to courier for them when I was out of work and odd jobbing, packages used to get launched over fences so I got my 50p.

Alarm bells should have started ringing 2 weeks ago when they forced a small package through the cat flap, It actually got stuck so kitty was stuck outside until I got home from work

Ill await his reply, and if he wants a refund ill tell him i'll come and collect it first

If the buyer is innocent, then that is the worst thing they can do.

Then they have to rely on your word that you will give a refund as they have nothing to return as per ebay rules on the matter.

It's similar to a seller accepting a paypal payment for something collected. No evidence it was posted.

Can't see how that damage would happen if you packed it correctly. More like they've dropped it down the stairs accidentally or something and now saying it arrived damaged.

My Mrs just said them exact words!!

Any way just emailing him now, seems very reasonable, hes willing to accept a partial refund, which seems fair as insurance was never offered

I'm probably wrong and feel free to correct me if i am, but I got the impression from the photographs that the cassette deck has been forced open somehow:confused:

Hi Yes in foam and bubble wrap there is no way damage like that can occur

Plus on tape decks the base or top usually get smashed in with bad couriers

He prob dropped it down steps

That's been dropped and landed on the edge, you can see the impact mark and the buckle on the metal bezel.
As the front bezel over hangs the main chassis that has taken the full brunt of the force.

Mail man or he dropped it. ;)

Always land on transport side too, inflicting maximum damage inside, If that plastic posts which keep the mechanism sandwiched together haven't snapped, ill eat my hat!
