UKIP leader, Diane James, resigns after 18 days

Joke party, always has been. One loud mouth figurehead who plays to the zeitgeist and then a whole load of additional cretins without his ability to be heard.

The most successful political party in British history :)
Mission accomplished, they should rightly crumble away to nothing.

There's no doubt that Farage is the most successful politician of my lifetime, I'm not convinced that UKIP itself deserves much credit. Without Farage they'd be an irrelevant collection of swivel eyes loons; with Farage and heavily aided by Farage obsession of the UK media they enjoyed a brief dance in the spotlight.

I hate to tell you this, in case you missed June.

Oh boy.

Maybe she realised what a shower she was leading and decided to leave them to it?

18 days longer than Labour has had a female leader for.

True although Corbyn is a bit of a big girl.... :p

I agree with the sentiment that they've achieved their objective and should quietly disappear and perhaps this is a sign that they ultimately will.

We are not trying to stifle freedom of speech or censoring what people can or cannot say, but we have been left with no choice to enforce this more rigid approach to dealing with people that post unnecessarily aggressive and antagonistic comments to one another or a group of people.

We expect people to be moderate in their language and how they address issues.

We are not suggesting that you cannot disagree with anything or be completely opposed to certain beliefs or values - we do however, expect you to enter the debate with reasoned and non-aggressive rhetoric.
