All Gears of Wars Nvidia Digital codes have been revoked due to the selling of them

You need to contact Nvidia with proof of your purchase to reinstate them.

not really due to the selling of them per se, but because Amazon were issuing them upon order and people were cancelling the order thus getting a free key, which they were then selling

But Nvidia are well covered as their T&Cs state that you can't sell the code on.

This is scaremongering it only states the amazon codes so does not affect places like OCUK!

It states Nvidia has revoked ALL codes. They dont know/can't tell which ones were sold through Amazon.....................

As a result, Nvidia announced that it would be revoking its digital codes for the said game

What a shame that once again people who abuse a system for personal profit have ruined it for others. It will make companies think twice about creating cool offers in future

here is an actual statement from the developers:

"Hi all

We detected some Gears 4 Windows 10 keys were obtained illegitimately via our NVIDIA promotion. We have gone ahead and revoked keys that fell in this bucket. If you believe your key was incorrectly revoked, we highly recommend you contact NVIDIA support with proof of purchase to help out with this."

So as long as you got your key legit like via OCUK promotion your good to go as they obviously knew which keys to revoke but some websites either misunderstood or clickbaited the issue before checking properly!

How is it abuse? You get the code as a reward for buying the card. From then on, what does it matter if you use it or someone else uses it? It's not like it can be used twice.

I think - like my post - he is talking about people intentionally buying several cards then returning them but keeping and selling on the codes to make a few quid.

Oh well then I agree. That's a bit shady. I don't see anything wrong with selling your legit codes on though. As soon as you buy the card it's yours to do with as you please IMO, if you keep the card

Besides, I thought using the code voided any return. Didn't even know you could do that.
