All Gears of War Nvidia codes revoked

I think - like my post - he is talking about people intentionally buying several cards then returning them but keeping and selling on the codes to make a few quid.

Indeed, thanks.

No issue with selling on a code you've received with a card but ordering several, getting the codes and cancelling the order is a joke because of the potential to ruin future deals.

All they have to do is not issue the game vouchers until 14 or 28 days after purchase, that way the cards are beyond DSR, so scumbags can't steal and sell on the vouchers.

Shouldnt be a problem for the people who sold their keys on MM if they do get revoke. Contact the seller to forward the receipt which OCUK supply anyway via PDF.

NVidia know some people will end up with more than one code for a game and allow them to redeem them.

Sometimes I have 4 codes for a game which NVidia have allowed me to redeem. What does NVidia expect me to do with them. Having said that I don't sell them but give them away for nothing but NVidia does not know that.

Yeah you're such a bad customer! Let's keep Kaapstad from ever receiving any free gifts in the future! :D

Collective punishment is never the answer, and both nvidia and epic games should just swallow their losses and create a better system for distributing the codes in the future. Don't let your customers suffer because of your ineptitude.

It only affects amazon customers The Collective already revoked the keys 3 days ago so everyone else is good to go.

If only the Windows Store was working properly it seems you have to download the entire 73.3Gb in 1 go to avoid the dreaded unable to continue from pause option the developers forums are full of people complaining about this & MS seem unable to patch that yet

Windows 10/store/UWP is absolute inept development at its finest - if it was a small/new developer it might be understandable(ish). They couldn't even get the basic fundamental principles of store/UWP working from the start so I didn't hold out much hope of them delivering on what isn't really rocket science in terms of content distribution.

Surprised that they are being revoked as Microsoft are desperate to get people using UWP for gaming.

Guess its the developer - I was involved in an nVidia sponsored event awhile back and they were handing out AC codes, etc. like there was no tomorrow - I came away with a fair few to give away myself.

sad thing is that on insane settings it just one setting, the reflections which reduces 1080s and titans from 60 fps to 30 fps at 4k.

Apart from that, the game isnt too demanding.

You have it already?

No from the site where they altered each setting one at a time and ran it on loads of cards. Titan drops from 58 to 28 fps by switching dynamic reflections from ultra to insane. They look slightly better but that's not worth half your framerate.

If you leave reflections on ultra and everything else on insane a Titan will run it at 60 fps on 4K.

Link?

I cant find sites that benchmarked Gears of War 4 PC yet. Been checked gamegpu.com, computerbase.de, benchmark.pl, purepc.pl, overclock3d.com and pcgameshardware.de. None of them tested Gears of War 4 PC yet.

Maybe you got it mixed up with Gears of War: Ultimate Edition?

Nope gears of 4. It's on nvidias page :)

Screen space reflections is the killer. Knocked 44 fps off the 1080gtx. I can only just tell the diff side by side.

Btw kudos to nvidia for a brilliant guide. You can see all the different settings side by side as to what it changes and exactly the framerate penalty without spending hours in the game.

I'm going straight in with insane on everything except reflections and dof the other big killer. Should get me 60fps and lots of eye candy :)
