King of the Fighters XIV(PS4 Exclusive)

Had this since day one and think it is the best fighter this generation, played Mortal Kombat X, Injustice... etc.

It has epic online matches, once you figure out the clunky interface and has the best roster since '98.

It's on sale, so just wondering what others think? It seems to have sold out in some places but I've never heard anything about it from this forum.

Where is it on sale?

I was going to buy it on release but I gave up paying £40 for games now. A month after release it was still £40!!

I currently have it on Boomerang Rentals, haven't played much of it yet. Only one match.

It's on sale on the store, digital download edition.

Try before you buy though, it's my favourite fighter. Online is just insane.

Sad to see the move to 3d models. Loses a lot without the awesome pixel art.

I know

King of the Fighters 12 and 13 looked great with its hand drawn sprites. King of the Fighters 14 looks good but character models look like they were upped from King of the Fighters Impact series.

Seems the way forward now though with fighting games, Arc Systems Works did the same with Guilty Gear Xrd series but characters the still look amazing with the mix of cel shading on Unreal Engine 3.
