You don't align by the marks as they can often be out, they're used to measure adjustments after the initial alignment. Are you sure they're not aligning it properly and then you're undoing that by using the markers?

You'd expect the adjustment plates to be set to the same marker on both sides of the swingarm though wouldn't you?

Either way the back end felt much better on my ride in this morning now both sides are set the same.

Take it to a better garage?

I would but tbh I only use them for tyres everything else I do myself and they're a 30 second walk from the office so it's a case of me being lazy and their prices being half decent. I can live with having to line up the back wheel once or twice a year.

Might do :p

I don't want it in the near future, I'll get it at some point though. :p

You need a TL in your life just up your street great bike and a bike you actually need to put some effort into riding one.

loved mine.

Any other areas with most popular bike routes have these on them? There's quite a few of these posters around, never actually saw what it said as I was going a bit too quick. But today stopped to actually have a proper look. :p

When I did the Rutland TT there was a tonne of them. They all said "accident Here". Tbh, in most of the spots I couldn't fathom how it was possible to crash in those places.

I think next week ill get all the fairings off.

And do a proper inspection.

So far, the front wheel is definitly toast.
Rear wheel may be saved.
Left side engine case is gone as is the stator/alternator.

But if therea no major internal engine damage theres no frame damage.

I'm thinking winter blackbird street fighter project.....

Id have thlught v twins with the toque would have been ideal?

I'd quite like to try some stunting stuff but tbh id need a full crash cage and id still drop it 50 times a session lol

I forgot to burn out my old tyre :( probably for the best I don't think my neighbors would have appreciated that wake up on a Monday morning :D

Had to do an emergency brake as all of the sudden a women realised she needs to be in the left lane not in the right (3 lanes before a roundabout) did a stoppie, not intentional. But finally the skills learnt from doing stoppies came in handy...

Maybe you should learn how to ride without crashing first :D

It sounds like someone ate too many beans for breakfast... on the previous clip it sounded like a tractor. I wonder what it'll sound like with the new full system exhaust... :p

i've just put the end can on for now as i didn't have time to start messing with the downpipes, i might just pay someone to do it.

Sounds much better now with the arrow can on, i'll get a sound clip tomorrow, too late now!

:D

Anyone been to southern Spain on a bike? I'm talking Granada/Cordoba/Seville area? Looks like some nice roads, Sierra Nevada not far away and plenty of low mountains.

I'll have like 10 days holiday left to take before the end of February, if I can afford it I might book a self catering apartment down there for 5-7 days, and get the ferry from Portmouth to Bilbao/Santander with an airBnB or Ibis hotel stop midway down and back.

Crashing is bizarely fun.

I was legging it down the road after the bike laughing my tita off.

But looking at my jacket now holy **** i am glad i put the level 2 ce armlur in it or i think wed be sleaking about my broken left elbow and possibly shoudler

Without the kevlar pants (john doe are great recomend them 100%) wed also likley be discusing the life changing left leg injuries.

Id honestly be surprised if i would be able to use ky foot after that frash without the pants
