Installed NVME - Lower 3D Score ? - Fix?

Is this something new you've bought? Or is it the pcie adapter you're talking about?

I purchased a new PCI adapter and new NVME SSD :) never used before.

It get's weird now and i am slightly confused :S i just removed the PCI SSD and reverted back to the old standard 850 EVO Sata SSD.

My 3D Mark is very low still :S any ideas - there is a 23% drop in GPU performance ? cannot figure this out, i originally assumed it was the new SSD but that's obviously not the case.

Solved - Clear CMOS and back upto full juice.. Bizarre !

It's nothing to do with the SSD. The two gpu slots default to 8x/8x when a pair of cards are installed. They are not affected by the lower slot which is hardwired to pci-e 2.0 4x. Something else is causing this.

Your correct :) i have reinstalled the NVME SSD ran 3D mark and got 19k , so all is fixed, it was something to do with the Asus EZ clocker tuner, it changed some ram settings in the bios as well as other things i presume and it affected the GPU score.
Just managed to get 27k on the GPU score for firestrike, not sure if this is good but it's back to where i need it to be :)

Thanks again all.
