In the video pay careful attention to the reaction of the guests Don Cheadle and Joshua Jackson from Fringe at the 45 second mark , they look gobsmacked.

This certainly opens up some interesting doors.

It's fairly well known in the physics world that theories designed to unify the fundamental laws (M-Theory) are based in mathematics of many higher dimensions than the 4 we are conscious of. I think that's all he's implying.

Talk about an over exaggeration. He's not talking about "the Upside down" he's just saying that physics works theoretically with 11 dimensions. The actors are just ill-informed and confused.
