From the "getting old sucks" files!

Ah cheers Edrof. I've been struggling for well over two years but recently it's progressed. Been put on sulfasalazine, methotrexate, vitamin d and folic acid. Oh and a lovely steroid jab in the bum..

I've had many a needle in the buttock! I currently self-inject Abatacept each week. At least RA gets me out of any social occasion I might want to avoid. There are perks!

That's how I got my rotator cuff (shoulder) injury and an incapacitating back injury (bad squat form) that I am recovering from. Putting on my socks in the morning is near impossible :D

What do you think of the advice in this video. Do you think it would have helped if you knew it earlier or was your rotator cuff injury from overexerting yourself?

I once read about a chap who needed his leg amputated, but the waiting list was really long. So he laid it across a train line and did the job himself. Had no regrets apparently.

Thank me later.

49, and remember when young i could start drinking on a Friday night and continue through the weekend and have a hangover that lasted a few hours Monday morning.

Now, i can have a drink on a Friday night and the hangover lasts until Monday morning. :(

Stumbled onto this thread researching how to make soap from potato skins.

36yo and apart from greying (or 99% grey as the gf would point out), no difference at all. If anything, I feel much fitter and better when I was 20. Lifts in the gym much higher, can run 5k without breaking as sweat and generally feel better.
