Umi seem to be releasing quite a few phones with not very much to actually differentiate between them ...

Not sure what the real benefit of this one, given the linked review indicates its got quite a bit smaller battery and may even be running Android 5.1 when other models run 6 for a price that is not really different from the other models ...

I have an Umi Super ... which other than the camera needing to be better (although has improved with OTA updates since release) and it's a solid phone which works reasonably well in my experience ... will I get another Umi ... no idea but I do look at the other brands so they'd need to release something really good ...

Those who like the white colour I'm sure will be pleased that it looks like they've reduced the size of the black bezel around the screen. No MicroSD though which is a bit disappointing.

Now the mute button doesn't work, and it's causing me a nightmare to work out how to mute all the apps. Took me long enough to sort out all the sounds in stupid lollipop..
 
Elephone - So how do we know which is 5.2" and which specs it comes with? I.e. does 5.2" come with lower end specs

And why the heck did they not add USB C? Everyone else seems to be.
 
First time on here, looking at the elephone S7 but curious as to what else I could look over? Anyone got experience with some of the top end ones and how they perform? I would like as big as possible IE 5-5.5(6?) inch, as good a camera as possible and a good battery life.
Noticed the elephone is on appointment or something what does that mean?

They are not released yet only pre-sale,they will appear in the usual places aliexpress,gearbest etc.I would wait until reviews start coming in.Some have appeared on ebay but delivery well into November :eek:
