First Calais migrant children arrive in Britain

When I hears 'kids' I expected young children! A couple of friends are, at this very moment, on the way to take 'aid' to Calais. I don't remember them ever helping people in this country. Just seems like a bandwagon to me.
What mugs we are.

Since when was france a 3rd world country. All france us doing is trying to push the problem onto the UK.

Yeah, none of those look like children.

For the people screaming "racists! Islamophobes!"... do these people even look like children to you? Even a *little*? They look at least 21, and some looked more like 35!

I'd guess that at most 1 of them was under 20. It really is blatant.

And whilst I don't doubt that we need to help people coming from very **** situations, are they ones we should help the ones who are prepared to lie to our faces to come in? It's rewarding them for lying, basically.
 
The Home Office obviously disagree with your assessment of their ages. Since they've actually got some information to go on, I will believe their claim on this one until evidence to the contrary emerges.
 
I hope some of you lads were there to greet those kids and apologise on behalf of your country? You know like for things that you had nothing to do with?..or maybe you weren't even born at the time...it doesn't really matter you and your children are responsible for it anyway....Virtue! Virtue where are you?

The information being them saying "Yes, sir. I am 12, and what is this?" presumably?
 
You guys are really showing how out of touch you are!!
Teenagers today look well old, full beards, 6FT+
Then combine that with the terrors and horrific things many of them have no doubt seen I can fully understand why they have grown up and aged so much compared to other teenagers.
Good luck to them, I hope they can settle down and start living a normal peaceful life.

Don't you will only kill the thread, these threads are egg shell territory.

What I don't understand is how is France getting away with this, France is not a 3rd world country, war torn and ravaged(yet).

So why did they not claim asylum in France and then proceed with family reunification application as a French citizen? :confused: (I do know the answer but I will keep stump) ;)
