Note 7 Alternatives - Pixel XL or iPhone 7 Plus?

Wow! the new Pixel phone is fantastic when you actually see and hold one in the hand, it's beautifully made. I'm sure lots of people will disagree but when placed against the latest iPhone the iPhone looks 'cheap'.

Surprised nobody has mentioned the S7 Edge, that's pretty much the closest you'll get to the Note 7 for now

My vote goes to the LG V20....you can't officially get one here in the UK but you can buy one from Clove.

Yes it's well made but the design is just too dull and generic. And the front glass for the black model isn't even black, it's some dark grey which is a really odd choice. The whole design just boggles my mind when you consider how expensive this is.

Agree. It's turned out not as bad as I was fearing but it's still too bland and it's difficult to get over that chin. Coming from the Note 7 hasn't helped - if this had the design of the note and the s-pen I'd be over the moon.

I think the Pixel XL looks lovely but they really should have out the fingerprint sensor on the front in that big space where it would fit. It truly baffles me why Google think the back of a phone is a good place for a fingerprint sensor unless they are doing it so as not to mimic the iPhone too closely. It's a shame it hampers the users experience though.

I actually don't mind it on the back. It took a day to get used to coming from successive Notes but I think it's better on the back. I particularly like being able to swipe it down to bring down the notification bar - if you're holding your phone one handed it can be a pain trying to view your notifications and this solves that.

Yep not an issue with it being on the back. Gives the front a cleaner design too.

I just couldn't bring myself to going back to apple and this was the lesser of the evils.

the thing is the camera. its so tiny compared to the rest of the back
