(gamegpu) Battlefield 1 Benchmarks

Tried most things I can think of (including that) and it's not made much difference.

I'm running with everything on low at the moment to try and reduce the CPU load but it's just causing my 1070 to run around 40-50% usage whilst my CPU is still at 100%.

With a 144Hz monitor, i've always sacrificed looks for frames as I prefer the smoother game play but BF1 seems a lot more CPU intensive than BF4 did.

Either way, I've upgraded to a 5820k which should arrive today which I'll overclock as per usual. Should give me more grunt in the CPU department and last me for a few years.

Switched over to my new setup last night and with the same GPU my FPS jumped and I'm not sitting at around 140fps constant. Game appears to be very CPU heavy.

Anyone tried BF1 with the new drivers yet?

If so, are there any performance increases ?

Gave the game a shot last night. Only played on the the drivers but I can say they work a treat. Ultra preset dx12 @1200p on the first story mission I was averaging between 90-100 fps.

I've got some footage converting/uploading from the 1st Mission of the singleplayer campaign at 4K, DX12. Will post it here when it's ready. :)

A little CPU bottlenecked with two GPUs, will be interesting to see what DX12 offers in MGPU scaling. :)

Well very happy running at 4k on ultra with 90 fps.

Only thing is neither my cpu nor my gpu ever hit 100% use?

Why?

Gamegpu updated benchmarks of game ready drivers. Maxwell are getting really good gains from game ready driver.

Looks the same to me?

Fury still beating GTX 1070.
RX 470 still beating GTX 1060.

Surprised the 980Ti's been de-gimped so quickly.:p

But, going through the whole spectrum of DX12 capable gpu's while looking at all the various BM's, one things crystal clear-Nv's getting their arse handed on a plate!

Yup, that's really good.

I might turn a couple settings down and see if I can get a good 60fps at 1440p with my GTX970. Seems quite do-able.

If you conveniently ignore the DX11 charts, sure.

Sure that wasn't intentional on your part, though....
