***The Official DOCTOR STRANGE Thread***

This film looks better and better. Knew ZERO about Dr Strange before I saw the first trailer and playing Lego Avengers with my son.

Looking forward to it.

I wonder how much of this they'll try to explain in this and future Dr Strange outings?

And that is why ^^^ they have to balance nerdy with the mainstream. Hopefully they manage it with this incarnation as dr strange is one of the comics which can easily go full nerd.

Just watched the 2nd trailer and it gave me goosebumps. What an incredible looking film, very looking looking forward to this!!

I haven't seen ANY of these comic book base series on TV.

I'm losing track with them all.

someone would have to tell me which ones are worth it and which are rubbish.

Stick with the Netflix shows, in order it was Daredevil Season 1, Jessica Jones Season 1, Daredevil Season 2 then Luke Cage Season 1.

I'd say DD and JJ are definitely worth it but Luke Cage is a bit hit and miss in my opinion. Then if still after stuff to watch there are the other Marvel and DC TV shows but the Netflix series ranks high above them in my opinion.

Going this Sunday, honestly cannot wait. Not the biggest Marvel fan but I like the movies well enough. Literally just going to see Cumberbatch in what will undoubtedly be another shining performance. Bloody fanciable swine to, I have no shame in admitting a little man love for him xD

That's ok. I have major man love for Henry Cavill (Superman).

Watched it Tuesday. Really loved it. Was worried a little from trailers with Bendicts accent but was fine, was a real change of pace for a marvel movie.

But man alive, was the director dropping some serious acid during some of the dimensional/bending scenes!

8/10

Would be 9/10 if not for the tall brunette behind me kicking my chair every time she crosses her legs every 10 mins.

Watched this a few days back. Loved it!! Wasn't sure what to expect to be honest but I think Benedict did a superb job. He really drew me in as well. Wouldn't mind watching again.

Saw it last night.

5/10

Utterly 2 dimensional characters, terrible dragging dialogue throughout, most of the humorous moments fell flat and it just felt like a crap imitation of The Matrix starring Harry Potter.

The special effects were certainly not low in quantity but all the kaleidoscopic buildings really lacked weight.

I quite liked the other dimensional bits and it zipped along ok when no one was talking.
