Ive just bought a similar mk3 myself.
Wasnt sure about the folding hard top but I'm happy I didn't get another cloth top. The hard top was much warmer this morning.
Heated seats are better than expected.
Just noticed this morning that mine has heated mirrors, what luxury![]()
Underseal and cavity wax it. A proper job is about £350 at a specialist. And well worth it. The MK1's and MK2's loved to rot, and the MK3's have been around long enough for people to start reporting rust issues.
I daresay yours is fine on an 09 with 30K miles, but a good wire brush and ditrinol session will protect it for the future.

Someone gave me a tip which I tried regarding the exhaust pipes, spray WD40 and wait a few mins and then scrub - works a treat!
