Im looking to buy a few TVs once i move back into my refurbished property.

What should I look for when buying a new TV so i can do a bit of research and get the best result so prices and sales people cant pressure me into buying something I should avoid ?

Well you need to know what your budget is first!

Good point,
The main tv realistically i'm thinking upto £1000 maybe a little more if its worth the extra large as possible 4k hdr with all expected extras

2nd Tv its not going to be used as much, same again large as possible £850

TV for the bedroom im considering a 43" tv 4k hdr budget £500

Kitchen tv 50inch or under budget £500

Alright I'd suggest prioritising things based upon where it's more important, a good 4k tv with hdr will be expensive.

43" 4k with hdr is probably somewhat pointless unless you're sat right in front of it, the screen is too small to really benefit from 4k.

I'd look at what size you want for the primary tv, and then what features you want, and focus on getting that first. That will give you a better idea of what features you want and let you verify no issues encountered before buying and using several tvs at once.

For primary tv with 4k hdr you should consider lg oled 55b6v/65b6v, Samsung 65ks7000, and the sony equivalent offering for large tv and 4k/hdr.

Only if it's massive or if you can sit close/centrally. Otherwise flat is better. Personally i'd only go curved for big pj screens or 21:9 pc monitors.

For a £1000, 4k and HDR, especially if you're into gaming, i'd go for a Samsung UE49KS7000:

It's 49". I'd take budget from the other sets if needs be and go for the 60" or 65" version tho.

//edit - if gaming's not a concern there's a few other decent options.

Thing is here you want far too much and want it for as cheap as possible.

Put it this way a decent 43" 4k hdr tv is £800ish. which is more than 50% more than what your budget is for said tv.

then you say main tv large as possible 4k hdr. well £1000 will get you a decent 46-50" 4k hdr tv.

kitchen tv you want 50" for under £500, well that will get you a hisense with poor processing, etc.

why do you need 4K and HDR? what is your main usage? with your budget your looking at budget models tbh.

what to do is go into john lewis and buy the best LG TV's you can afford. they use IPS panels with a glass front and don't have the samsung brand tax added onto them so you get decent tv's for alright money. with samsung you get a decent tv but get ripped off at the same time.
