Will it rise again, or has the Jungle finally died?

French authorities have declared the Calais asylum seeker camp known as the "Jungle" empty, after fires set by departing migrants and refugees accelerated plans to evacuate the burgeoning slum.
Asylum seekers are being moved to reception centres around France.
"There are no more migrants in the camp," said Fabienne Buccio, a local official in the camp.
"Our mission has been fulfilled."
Some asylum seekers were seen milling around despite the announcement, but authorities said they would stop processing people by Wednesday evening (local time).
Earlier in the day, large portions of the makeshift camp went up in flames as authorities proceeded to clear the camp after starting the operation on Monday.
Riot police were spread out and fire trucks moved in to put out some of the fires, which sent towering plumes of smoke into the sky.
