But it's not always the case is it. There's a lot of assumptions made that they just want to come over and live on benefits. Maybe they have family here, maybe they know more English than French, maybe they think job prospects are better over here.

Can't write them all off based on the daily mail.

I'm not looking for anything, but use of the word refugee stirs up great feelings amongst you and the rest of the SJW's, so let's say what they actually are, illegal immigrants. They shouldn't be there, they dodged the legal channels.

But you can based on their methods, no? There are legal channels into this country which could be pursued.

I suspect camps will still get set up.

There were many migrant camps set up before the jungle albeit at a much smaller scale.

I personally feel rather sorry for the Calais residents, They must have lived in constant fear of having their properties broken into. It's probably no wonder Calais just looks like a baron wasteland. The French should have moved them all on within a few weeks of arriving, not leaving it for a year to continually grow in size.

Please explain to me how you've come to the conclusion that I'm with "the rest of the sjws"?

I agree 100% with your point that they shouldn't be there but I'm rather curious where you made the connection between me and SJWs.

Again though, once you look past the Daily Mail (and the like) headlines, this doesn't really make much sense.

A report from the Office for National Statistics published early in the year said that migrants paid more than £3bn in to the system, whilst only claiming £0.5bn.

Honestly I have little clue about the legal process of it. If this is the entrance method they have chosen I imagine the legal process to be less than ideal. I imagine it's the sort of thing you'd need a lawyer for, not really in a lot of their means or they'd have done it.

I'm far from the take everyone camp but I struggle to believe that everyone there is nothing but a dirty scrounger.

Thats the thing, i think very few of us are of the take everyone camp. Certainly no poster i have seen on OCuk but its hard not to play devils advocate to these 'OCuk Alphas' when they think everyone left of 'let all them scroungers whither and die' is an SJW.
