Is their any naming convention for the half length cards?

Picked up a lovely little Lian-Li case, but my radeon 79xx is about 3 inches longer than the case, so obviously i need to trade up to something smaller.

But is there a particular type of card to go for? Are their "compact" versions of full fat cards, or are they all 2/3rds of the performance?

Thanks

Compact versions of full cards.
The R9 Nano the most powerful at small size currently.
(full blown FuryX chip)

As above, the "compact" versions are normally "full fat", although in some situations they may not "boost" as much as full size cards, due to the smaller coolers.

They may also be listed as "ITX" cards/editions.

It all depends what you want to spend, EVGA do some decent single fan cards from the 750ti up to the 1060, Both are offered as regular or superclocked models, If you choose an EVGA one note that the superclocked versions actually has a far better cooler even though they look almost identical.
