Yes he will. If he is turning down migrants time after time, they report him, clearly he is discriminating against them and that's what the new rules are for, to stop "people like him".

Lol, what on earth are you on about. Civil liberties covering religion and race was enshrined in law across developed nations decades ago.

Secondly Martin Luther King, Mahatma Ghandi etc. are who I would describe as social justice warriors and I say that with praise.
 
I find the approach by AirBNB very strange.

You guys know us, we are very tolerant over here, it is not like we formed this policy based on nothing.

After your partner has been threatened, and your house/toilets left looking like a Bangladeshi slum sewer, its time to form a new approach. This was a repeated issue, not just a one off.

It is really strange, you welcome people in to your own home, treat them the same as you would treat them anyone else, and you get taken advantage.

We wondered why this was the case? why? Never a problem with European, just from muslim country. We had Japanese a few times and they are so polite.

You know full well there are scumbag Europeans that also do this stuff. Stop bashing the Muslims. Maybe report the behaviour to Airbnb who might then form some sort of policy to ban people that do these things?

If the commitment meant being kind and polite to all, I think very few people would have trouble signing it. I certainly would sign it. I read it as an affirmation that in every circumstance judgment or bias is wrong, and to sign it means a commitment to that belief. People who are welcoming others into their home should have total freedom to pick and choose their guests, even if they do so from bias. In fact, if a potential Airbnb host doesn’t want me in his house because I am a white Christian male, I don’t want to be in the home of a person like that anyway. If an Airbnb host only wants to make her property open to women, or LGBTs ect, or Muslims, or any other designation, Airbnb should grant them that right out of respect to their sovereignty over their home.

What is not defensible is Airbnb expecting the same of its renters. If a renter behaves badly, in a rude, disrespectful manner to his or her hosts and their property, then they should be banned from the service, no extra SJW rules are needed for them.
 
I would imagine that Airbnb are doing it to protect themselves in the event of a host sueing them due to a guest making them feel uncomfortable on the basis of their beliefs. They have terms and conditions they can point to and say "see, we tried".
 
What's to stop someone taking the ****, wrecking a place, then pressuring a host to keep quiet by saying "You say anything to Airbnb and I'll tell them that you called me X and you are a bigot" ?
 
I'm not aware of a law that makes criminal damage OK if you claim that you only did it because someone was nasty to you.
