Hi , I know that Vtx3d has gone bust....owned by Powercolor , I read they will honor all RMA warranty , basically the card is running hot at around 94 degrees when playing games , which causes blue screens fairly regular .

It is not a reference 290 model , it is the newer V2 290 X edition (not a 290x) model that came out in 2014 , that has better fans and cooling etc.

I have contacted Powercolor to ask them for a RMA .

BUT I cannot remember if the warranty on the VTX3D card is 2 years or 3 years....I know I had a old 7970 and that was sent back under warranty , that had a 3 year warranty.....

Anyone happen to know please?

VTX were gash for RMA's, bought one 7850 and never again after it went faulty within 4 months. The hassle of getting it sorted. Was without a GPU for 7 weeks

VTX haven't gone bust, VTX is a brand name owned by TUL corporation who are one of the biggest AIB's in the world and are far from bust.

Have you tried contacting the store you bought it from? It will much easier then dealing with a company in Taiwan.
