Went and purchased the new Razor Blade with Core!

How do you order the core as well, I can only see an option to notify?

Click on the link highlighted and you can order the stealth and core as a bundle. I believe it ships around 18th November.

Just pulled the trigger on the Razer Blade Stealth + Core! Hope that this isn't excluded from the free Leviathan offer??

Did you use the code at the checkout and it worked? If so you're okay. It mentions Razer Blade is excluded, but doesn't mention the Razer Blade Stealth. Which is insane. Surely it should work for the more expensive laptop?

I'm more tempted by the Razer Blade Pro. 1080 chip built-in, so no real need for the Core.
For me, if I had to get the Core to game, then it defeats the purpose of having a laptop as I'd still be pretty limited to my desk for gaming and can't sit on the sofa or whatever.

Well for me and many others there is a need. If I want my system at home I can use the core if I want to take the Blade on a plane I can lower the resolution and use the 1060. Simple.

Yes it appeared to all go through without a problem. Certainly doesn't make sense why you can't use it on the Blade! :(

Any thoghts about the FHD vs QHD?

Money aside I'm not sure which to go for.

I'm used to the rMBP but I'm perfectly fine on 1080p. I'm more worried about the scaling - browsing reddit shows that people have problems because it's 3k. A lot also complain about the glossy screen.

Correct me here as I may be wrong, but I'm sure the FHD is NOT touchscreen whereas the QHD is. That is the other major difference apart from resolution. Otherwise if you're happy gaming at 1080p then stick to FHD and save money. Unless you are getting the core too and intend on putting a 1070 or 1080 in there, then you might want the QHD.

Remember though, using the laptop monitor to feed the GPU back to the laptop is going to give you a big performance hit due to TB3 bandwidth limitations, so you might be better off going FHD and getting a UHD external monitor and plug it directly to the core GPU.
