Went and purchased the new Razor Blade with Core!

I'm not too worried about battery life (as it will be plugged in 90% of the time) it would only be off of the mains for browsing/consumption and maybe lightroom.

Touch screen is nice but I'm not sure how often I'd use it.

If there were no negatives to the QHD display I wouldn't even be thinking about it, it's the scaling and glossy screen which worry me. I've heard that scaling games down to 1080p can cause issues.

Gaming is really secondary (even though I would be doing a fair bit of it). It's main uses are Pro Tools (DAW) and consumption.

From what I understand 1080p = 1/2 of 4k.

The Razer actually uses 3k so the maths doesn't work out.

That doesn't matter. The resolution doesn't need to be exactly half for a monitor to scale. From what I can find this isn't an issue in the latest build of Windows 10 anyways...

For those that managed to get the Leviathan code to work can you tell me what you purchased? For example was it a Stealth with a core etc?

Yes, it will look much sharper on that resolution with the dpi scaled up for text.

Yes that is what they are saying, but a few here have stated their order went through with the stealth and core, so I am trying to ascertain who managed to get the deal.

I've been emailing Razer support about warranty and they have told me the following:

My question: Are you sure it's 2 years as the website says 1 year for systems, which does seem short - http://www.razerzone.com/warranty?
RZ CS answer: It is basically 1 year manufacturer warranty and another year reseller warranty (Razerzone is the reseller). So yes, it is 2 years.

My question: Who deals with UK warranty/repairs?
RZ CS answer: Support is from our EU-Office and in case of a repairment, we have a new repair center in Germany.

My question: Is shipping available to Jersey?
RZ CS answer: Yes, Channel Islands from 21 November.

I ordered the Blade stealth + core and the code at checkout was accepted ok.
Order summary showed the leviathan added.

Had a call day after I ordered to confirm address etc and I was told that Leviathan was all added.

Ordered the Stealth + Core and managed to get the Leviathan.

I believe that if you order the laptop on its own then you can't get the speaker.

Just checked the Razer website and the Stealth QHD 512GB now has limited units available. If anyone is thinking about it, they should go for it soon.

It shows what I ordered. I couldn't add the Leviathan as it stated it was out of stock, which I thought was odd as they can just ship it when it comes back into stock. So I contacted Razer and they told me it was because Blade system purchases were exempt from the offer. Yet here we are with multiple people telling me they got a free Leviathan and spent less money than me... it's pretty ridiculous!

The Blade and Core combo yes, but Razer are telling me the Razer Stealth and Core combo are exempt as well, which obviously isn't the case!

Oh right, I guess we got lucky then!

Perhaps yours didn't go through because it was out of stock. I think you ordered before the rest of us. By the time we ordered, it was back in and we managed to use the code even though it shouldn't have worked.
