never had an issue with cash on collection, either as buyer or seller.

i have sold quite a few items stating cash only, then the buyer paying via paypal, i just refer them to the listing stating cash on collection and refund them asking them to pay when collected, never had an issue so far

not true. there are plenty of listings with out paypal.
more likely we are both right and it is category dependent.

you can also use classified ads these days which also has no payment method.

possibly category dependent then, everytime i have tried i cannot proceed and have to check paypal as payment
