some folk love to point out someone elses misfortune down to their less than perfect knowledge of gfx cards and cooling? - its a learning curve

Not getting the hate in the thread for the OP, he's done what countless people (myself included) and cooled his card using an AIO watercooler.
 
I think its the description in the thread.

the thing that came to my mind was "THE MOD", which is a thread on a very large US forum which literally is bolting any form of water cooling onto a card with zip ties to string.
Users my of though OP has just bolted it on and no used a G10 kit etc.

Was using the kraken g10 and upgraded 90mm fan not cable ties lol
 
Just checked the rma status says rma compmeted please unregister this product and register your replacement.

Hoping that means what i think it doea.

Cant believe the ignorance in this thread. Either that or doing it on purpose. I've done the cable tie method successfully on a EVGA 580 in the past (with mem/vrm heatsinks). Where do you think the companies like EVGA, Gigabyte, Corsair, NZXT got their idea for the AIO GPU coolers from !! Thousands of people like myself who did it the cable tie way and made AIO GPU coolers popular. Done right it can reap huge benefits.

Right think I shall do some gaming now with my MSI GTX 1080 Sea Hawk with a CPU cooler attached.

Shame on you !

Lol

I was even using the nzxt g10 lol.

Its all good anyway new gpu will be here thurs. They have already applied the new serial number to my account as well.
