Laptimes around the ring show large differences between them mind. (but yes, I also know the ring isn't everything, it has just become a proving ground for hot hatches)

Yea Ford's chassis are better and the power curves feel better for road use. A lot of turbo cars have all the power come in one lump, but Fords have strong power all through the range which makes them feel quicker.

Pointless if you ask me. I'd still take the Renault.

of course, thats the whole point of cars like this, it's more about top trumps willy waving with numbers down the pub than it is about actually going quickly
