I think you guys know what I'm going to ask from the title. One of my engineers' car was involved in a non fault accident this morning. Parked up in a car park, someone hit another car which then hit his. Bit of damage, numberplate holder broken, grille bent, nothing unrepairable.

Question is, will he lose his NCB for this?

I'm guessing the at fault party stayed at the scene and provided his/her details?

If so - great, he won't lose his NCB
If not and there is no third party to claim against - he will lose part/all of his NCB depending on your insurers policies.

Yep, the guy was honest and offered to resolve it properly.

I guess he's safe then, thanks all :)

Sorry, didn't realise the guy who pranged him hung around.

I got back to my car recently to find a slight scrape on the front bumper. No details had been left :(

Obviously didn't bother claiming, damage wasn't severe enough.
