*** Battlefield 1 ***

I love the Dirtini...was so funny to hear Josh scream like a little girl when he picked one up from a dead soldier last night...I sounded exactly the same when i first used it haha.

It's great but annoying when your a little to close and you hit for only 97 damage and then get caught in a reload. I think 1 hit range is between 40m and 90m isnt it?

30-80m for one shot kill :p

Usually the game runs pretty great. Occasional lag during screen changes.

Yesterday however was getting major lag sever lag for about 15sec. It was like the card slowed down.

Now my system is a [email protected] and a 970G1 at 1200p. My set up according to benchmarks should be good for ultra at this res.

So not sure if it's the game or drivers, or my system.

I've kind of sorted my sensitivity issues. I've had to enable the ADS FoV Scale because it just messes with the custom magnifications you can select on each weapon. It's like an ultra zoom. ><

So ADS FoV Scale = Enabled and then Iron/Optical at 1.25% and Marksman at 2.0%

Yeah its around 5 hours, but longer if you want to do all the codec challenges/field manuals and get all the skins for MP. But that just involves playing thought the missions again.

Hang on...so weapons actually lose power again at close range?

No wonder I'm finding infantry combat so bloody frustrating. At medium range, the medic weapons are OK, more powerful than SMGs, but you'd expect that trend to continue as the range closed. But so many times, I've been caught out in close quarters combat, plugged the enemy seemingly 2 or 3 times and they just spin around/strafe sideways and nail me almost instantly.

I gather the intention might be to render some classes less effective in CQB, but really, reducing weapon power is about the most frustrating way to achieve it :(

Medic weapons do maximum damage at 0 range:

Sniper rifles however do not..

Everyone else's medals broken? My selection Keeps changing randomly.

Mine do, which I dont mind so much. The thing that annoys me is that my loadouts also keep randomly changing. Very annoying when I go to drop a mine and instead I am holding a stick grenade because it randomly changed my loadout from the last time I logged in.

Try not to think of it as much as a campaign as a series of training missions.
You can get through it in about 5-6 hours, but it's really just to get you used to weapon types, classes, maps and environments.

MP is where it's at!
