Galaxy s6/s6 edge or sony xperia equivalent - final decision

Hello guys,

I know ive posted a few threads recently but ive come to a final decision of either the galaxy s6/edge or a sony xperia equivalent.

Could somebody tell me what the equivalent xperia model would be for the price of an s6 edge?

Also what would be my best choice? Im looking for a nice screen and quick and not laggy.

The equivalent would be the Z3 I think, but the Edge beats that in most departments.

Z3 offers a memory card slot, water resistance, bigger battery (though takes far, far longer to charge), but with the Edge you'd be getting a faster CPU, that beautiful quad HD AMOLED curved screen, better camera, wireless charging and more software features if that's your thing.

I'd say the Edge, but I'm biased because I just typed this post with one. :p

I disagree, it'd be the Z5 (both seem to be around £400). I would go with the Z5 (or probably the Z5C) over the S6 Edge as I despise TouchWhiz, and Sony's changes to Android's UI are more subtle.

If you put TouchWhiz to one side though, waterproofing is something I'd like in a phone, Dx0 rate the Z5 camera one point above the S6's camera and the option of an SD card is always nice - you're going to have to spend more to get a larger sized S6 upfront. The Z5 has a bigger battery so should last longer (another thing that matters to me).

go for the Z5 - battery life is super long. quality is top notch and looks gorgeous unlike the cheap reflective look of the S6/S6 edge. Much less bloatware on the Z5 (much of which you can actually uninstall)

And If you buy it online through one of the HK providers you can get it as low as £300
