Ask your doctor how much they drink, if its more than you, your good to go, if its less than you, you have a problem![]()
I just had a week off the sauce... by the end of it I felt mentally 'fresh' and didn't even fancy indulging on Friday after work drinks... even though that was my initial intention. Clearly not great for you to drink most days, physically or perhaps otherwise.
That said I did have a few yesterday![]()
I've had over a year off the sauce. First couple of weeks were rough, but now I don't miss it.
The NHS guidelines are no more than a max of 14 units in a week.
A quick Google seems to suggest that 70cl's of Vodka contains 26 units.
I would suggest cutting down.

Of course, drinking 20+ units every night is fine! ... Best of luck in your liver cirrhosis goals.
What ridiculous advice to offer.
^^^^^14 units a week!
I do 20+ every night!Bloody light weights
I would rather drink the same amount every night than binge at the weekend, as that can be more detrimental to your health in the long term.
Drinking every night is not a problem if wake feeling ok, my be just a few tadpoles floating in the eyes, but get on with you day to day job and routines.
My cousin is in a dark place with drink, she drinks a bottle of vodka a day!
She is known to be rotten drunk at 11am!To me that's just a nope on so many levels.

Quite.
After 20+ units you must still be over the drink drive limit in the morning?
That's >10 pints a daythat's not far off a bottle of vodka is it? Unless you're saying she drinks a litre a day...
Damn bro
I would say I have a bit of a problem with alcohol, but 20 units starts getting me into blackout mode :S
If your not joking and you genuinely think that's ok, then that's pretty shocking.
Ha! As a South African, all I can say is you're level 1.
Make the same thread again when you're level 5.
a lot of seriously alcohol dependant people on here - masked behind typical 'im fine' posts and to 'man up' comments.
Interesting.
Don't think liver disease cares about comments, keep drinking heavily, its gonna happen, simple really, but if ignorance is bliss to you then, go ahead.
