How come no one seems to be playing it?

Hearing its as good as the first but has the standard Bethesda launch issues...

Yeah Im on GAF more myself - just like to see what people here think on reflection when it comes to games. 2016 hasnt been a good year for them it seems...

Want to buy this as the first was great, but really not interested in being a beta tester. Really considering becoming a gamer who just is a year out of sequence so when I buy games they are cheap and fixed :p

I bought it and played through it, much of the same as the first one really. A little bit more open world, so to speak.

It's worth a run through, but the Xbox One has some pretty bad blurring that seems to happen to objects at a distance that makes it seem as though you need to put glasses on.

I'm not talking about motion blur either, I mean when you're stationary people etc are blurry.

I can only play 30-40 minutes at a time, the terrible blurring/out of focus and ridiculously narrow FOV combine to give me a right headache when playing for any reasonable length of time.
Which is a shame because if they can sort out those it seems like it would be a brilliant game...
I've managed to get to Karnaca, but have decided to put it down for now until hopefully they fix the focus thing, i'd rather sit back and enjoy the game for what its meant to be rather than struggle through in bitesize chunks.

Is the blurring depth of field effects? I guess there are no options to turn it off?

I personally hate that effect but developers seem to go mad with it on some games. Mind you, I suspect it may be more of a device to imporve performance in this title, particularly given they are also using a narrow FOV.

Shame. I had liked the look of this but think I will give it a miss.

I wasn't going to purchase this but the reviews look good and I got it for £18 as a bonus for preordering the Pro with Amazon (which they subsequently failed to deliver).

Too many good things to play at the moment!

Probably not a bad idea, although the game is playable it feels like a patch should sort out the visual issues on Xbox, at least I would hope so.

Haven't seen you post much.
Tired of the same cycle of game/release issues and the whole Pro/Scorpio refresh isnt particularly appealing to me so limited what I can say other than what Ive said in the past...

Switch will save us :p

EDIT: Whats your name on there again? I do seem to spot a couple of OCUKers posting time to time...

If you liked the first, you'll like this, very similar but a bit tweaked. My only issue is that it can be a bit choppy on the PS4 if a few guards turn on you at the same time (which they will). Not unplayable but noticable. I hate the fact that It's making me lean towards a PS4 pro. I can only see developers getting lazier about optimization if the game runs fine on the pro, it's a nice looking game but not mindblowing and a little cartoony so can't really see why it would struggle.
