Im not bothered. I keep things in my head. They are welcome to everything else. If they misuse it, I'll take it public.

They have been doing this covertly for decades, so it makes no odds.

I know they are and have been since forever. This legislation has little to do with keeping us safe in the anti-terror sense.

Personally, I'd be happy for whatever agency to go through every detail of my life, assuming it happens to everyone else in the land and not just us plebs.

Well mps and members of the ogvernment/parliment cannot be spied on

Time to use VPN for day to day activities then.

Anyone with an ounce of sense and something to hide will have already been using one so this just takes privacy away from the vast majority of the population.

£&£^&"&*^!

EDIT: VPN back up and running :D

I don't quite know how I feel about this.
One part of me thinks it is good to maintain security of this country and the same part of me thinks "if you've got nothing to hide, you've got nothing to fear.

I presume therefore that should the police or security service knock at your door then you will be more than happy for them to have a rummage amongst your personal stuff.

or take everyones DNA and hold it on file, you know just in case.

What's more worrying is that neither side is opposing or questioning.

Knew this would be high on May's agenda. Vile woman.

Le big sigh.

Make me laugh the only objection it got was the amendment that it doesn't apply to MPs.

Why? If its okay for normal public, why shouldn't it include them? Or are they all above the law now?

Was just about to phone my Mum this lunch time but decided against it in case the gov listens in. There's usually some pretty juicy gossip about what Great Aunt Marion has been up to.
