2017 Honda Civic Type R

I think Honda use need for speed underground 2 to design cars these days. They even managed to screw up their best seller the Jazz with the new version. Woeful engine choice and the worst entertainment system known to man.

It's like Honda have given up.

yea, the latest Jazz is pig ugly too, the new 2017 Civic and Jazz are about as ugly as each other, so it's hardly surprising that the next Type R is a dog to look at as well, they wont sell many of these.

Way too angular :/ Looks like a Focus ST that's been bent out of shape.

FD2 looks 10x nicer. They need to smoothen out the lines and make it less busy on the front.

Exactly :p

the best way to choose the look for the next model to guarantee virtual success, is to upload 4 concept variations and via a poll, ask you the consumer to choose your favourite one, leave it online for 2 months.

but Honda are too stupid to realise this, instead, they've already built the next Civic and Jazz that nobody likes the look of.

I would have based the next Civic on the FD2, or even copied it with very small changes, which would have made it similar to the WRX STI or even the Evo X..... but not an even uglier Focus !!!!!

after all, the Mustang still looks the same as 20 years ago

Feel like I'm in the minority here but it's grown on me a lot. Not sure how good it'll look in other colours/finishes though; and the triple-exhaust tips are still silly.

I'm with you- think it looks great. Car design is incredibly bland these days ( mostly thanks to BMW and VAG) so nice to see something that makes you look twice.

totally agree.

too many quick aggresive cars being built for the school runs.

m135i for example, looks the same as every other 1 series
