I've just ordered a mixed case using a voucher and a signup incentive. Should have been about £150 but I paid £59 inc delivery. So at £5 a bottle I'm hoping it's going to be a bit better than your usual £5 a bottle wine.

Am I going to be disappointed?

Thought it worth a punt and it can be our Xmas wine stock.
1 prosecco
2 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc
2 Bourret
1 Sauvignon Blanc
2 Rioja Tempranillo
2 Cabernet Carmenere
1 Merlot Malbec
1 Cotes du Rhone

Naked Wines is decent stuff usually - I've used them for about 5 years now. The whole "angels" model is a bit naff, claiming that your money helps small wine growers etc but overall most of the wines' I've had from them are good.

I've been with them for several years now and typically order wine from them a couple of times a year for sharing with friends and family. It'll depend on your tastes but the quality has always seemed good to me, in a pre-selected mixed case there might be one or two that aren't to your particular preference but equally you will try some wines you wouldn't normally either. However I'm not the fussiest of wine drinkers, perhaps because I don't know enough to be too discerning.

Order from them regularly and never been let down.

Also customer service was excellent when there was an issue with a change of address which was our fault.

Their wine tasting events are great too.

I've been using them for a couple of years and have had some excellent wines from them. For the most part, their wines are good and reasonably priced.

I'm going to go a little against the grain here, I found them just Ok and have used them a number of times, just signing up as a new user and getting the maximum discount. So for me its not a bad way to get drinkable wine for not a lot of money.

I tend to spend my summer holidays in France and do a bit of wine tastings then have the Chateaux deliver it direct to UK. This way you get far better stuff than any supermarket can provide and even after shipping costs good value. A case of 12 is usually between €30-€40 delivery.

I've been a customer for over a year now, and I order a box every 3-4 months. The wine I buy from them will usually be drunk within a few months, and the wine I keep for longer I get from more specialist wine retailers. I've had mixed results from them with a few nice bottles, but most are fairly average, although they are not bad value for money.

I've just received the Christmas Box and it looks great again this year. Some of the marketing is a bit annoying but generally you can't go too wrong with Naked Wines.

Here you go, some holiday generosity to the next thread wanderer.

Just post a screenshot of using it after you have so that people know it has been used.

their wines were ok but the pushy marketing and over familiarity in emails became annoying after a while

i now get my wine from a local off-licence who run monthly tastings, with the occasional topup from offers in the big supermarkets

Thought we should test them before Xmas so we've had one of the Cabernet with some roasted pork chops & root veggies in the week and had one of the Riojas with a hearty beef stew last night. Both were good, the Rioja nice & fruity to accompany the rich beef and the Cabernet improved greatly once it's been open an hour or so and had time to acclimatise.
