£500 PC for racing games?

Im currently trying to help my brother build a gaming PC for racing games, preferably running Assetto Corsa and rFactor or other racing sim games.

Do you guys have any ideas about what builds i should be looking towards, i know AMD is the best way to go for a budget PC but if you could give me an intel & geforce option as well that would be great.
