I'm just stubborn... :p

He says that he doesn't want to spend money on a bike which he'll get rid of soon. But yet he spends £300+ on an exhaust and 1 week later he sells the bike because the handlebars are too wide. To me that sounds like a hypocrite, no? :p

Now than, lets change the subject...

Edit:

I've a few mates from Norway that I speak to daily and when they tried to teach me Norwegian it didn't go too well. :p Some languages are really hard to learn...

Edit2:
Anyone on here owned or ridden a Firebalde CBR1000RR 09-11? If yes, what is your overall opinion on it?

Oi sod off you, I had more fun on a moped than I've had on any other vehicle.

Disclaimer: It's also the only bike I've owned for a prolonged period of time :D

Let's not go too far, anyone who rides a moped for enjoyment is broken in some way :p :D

So, if I got something like this...

Would I get banned from this forum? :p :D

Amusingly there are a few scooters which I think look excellent, the Italjet Dragster being one of them. They ceased production years ago so sourcing an unmolested example brings the expression "hen's teeth" to mind but I'll get one eventually.

'That' and enjoyment should not be in the same sentence.

Gonna see if I can get a test ride on an Africa Twin when I book my CB400 in for it's MOT next week, if (when!) it passes I'll treat it to a service too as it's a bit overdue and it's feeling a little rough at the moment.

That thrilling noise of a hair dryer, the monstrous acceleration which feels like your ligaments are going to rip apart and the wind going up your dress straight on your... :p How can you not feel the excitement in such a experience that the moped gives you? :D

Looks like Guy Martin is going to attempt the Burt Munro Challenge and Nürburgring record. Should be interesting to watch! :)

I've them on my SV, they're much better than the stock although I can't squeeze through tight gaps in traffic like I use to. :(

I was wondering about that, but my mirrors are wider than my OEM handlebars, so I thought would be ok to use a wider bar... also I don't commute in it... so hopefully will be ok.

Did you drill holes or did you cut the switch tabs/lugs?

I filed them down a bit, I left little tips sticking out for extra grip. If I put a lot of pressure on them, I can still move them. But whilst riding I've never moved them. Even when I was learning how to do wheelies and I smashed the front hard they didn't move. :p

The only acceptable scooter and by acceptable I mean acceptable to look at for at least 5 seconds is the Italjet, any other, especially ones with an included fanny warmer should be ban worthy!

What about a Suzuki Burgman. Saw one flying down the dual carriage way the other day. I was driving otherwise I would have felt threatened!
