I have a GTX980 Strix and a Gigabyte GTX1060 6GB Windforce OC (the dual fan but not the G1 cooler) here, and I'm wondering which one to keep and which one to sell. Your thoughts?

980 or 1060 - which to keep and which to sell?

I ended up with both after trying to downgrade. I had a 980ti, but I'm only going to be gaming at 1440p/60, which I think both the 980 and the 1060 will achieve when overclocked.

Sell both and get a RX480, or wait for Vega

You're better off selling the 980 now and keeping the 1060, Pascal does certain things better than Maxwell so sell it while you can before it devalues too much..

Down grade not at all. Remember your logic where the Fury X was around gtx980 performance. If that holds true then the RX is gtx980ti/Fury X performance

Yeah, it'll be better in newer games, and has 2GB more vram.

Those two games above are no real indication of the overall performance gain of being with Nvidia (980 or 1060 against the RX480).
Nvidia is still faster in many more games, and all mentioned cards offer more than enough for 1080p gaming with near max settings give or take.

2 choices, sell 980/keep 1060, plenty power@1440p on suitable settings, or sell 1060 too and go 1070, might/not have to add for the 1070 depending if you can get good cash for your 980/1060-and the 1070 will laugh in the face of RX480/1060, it's an animal.

Yes,its not really helping you either!! You do realise the reference RX480 throttles and yet in a Nvidia sponsored game where AMD had performance issues it is matching a much better cooled FE GTX1060??
An R9 390X is now matching a GTX980!! A Fury X is equaling a faster GTX980TI too!!

It was a bit of humor to easy saying that the RX480 would be downgrade along with the fact that he always says Fury X was gtx980 performance at launch because it matched it in a few games.
As above sell them both and get a gtx1070 or keep the 1060.
