MLB: the Show 16

It's hard to begin with, it's the best hitting option though. Anyone that plays at a high level uses it, offers best use of hitting and the direction you want it to be hit.

Personally I thought it was hard to hit when I was a teenager. A group of us use to play in the fields trying to play baseball. I never did get good hits as it was always hits you had from the edge of the ball.

Yeah but like with anything the more you play, how often and at a particular level it becomes easier. Some of the best hitting in baseball, can choose where they hit or at least time it to the point where they crush it with ease.

Funny, few nights ago when pitching. Really was quite a chuckling moment, threw the ball at the batters back and he stumbled. Done it a second time and he fell face down. The face expressions were something.

Yeh plunking someone you always get a good facial expression, should see it in some of the real games getting plunked by a 90+ mph fast ball hurts a tonne. It's caused plenty of fights and bench clears in the past and to this day.

It's caused fractures, internal bruising, fractured ribs in the past. If you've seen some of the pitchers get hit as well, it's nasty one guy's face swelled up so bad he looked like a chipmunk and was out quite a while.

I have no idea or cannot remember how it happend. Or I think I misaligned the throw with the analogue meter.

Normally you just go completely off in the meter and plunk them, it's an instant walk or if you do enough of them in a game then players get removed etc.

This'll show you some of the hits/pitches that hurt.

The guy i mentioned in the above post ie. Chipmunk was at the 3:44 mark. Hit with a 100mph fast ball line drive, whole right side of his face was double/triple the size of the otherside.

I haven't tried pitching straight at the batter yet. Could be a good way to 'soften' him up though. :p

I've had bats flying from my grip or snapping in half when I'm batting though.

Geez! I had never seen this side of baseball before. It is even worse thinking about it right in the ear.

Yeah there's fights, bad injuries, players hit by pitches and hits, players running into walls full speed etc. That and some of the plays by the players are totally outstanding and shows you that they are at the top of their game.
