Car Detailing - Ceramic Coatings

minutiadetailing.com

I used this place to do my cars now. He really does a amazing job. I have been using ceramic coatings for many years now. Well worth it.

I've had my last two cars ceramic coated and i couldn't do without it, I never need to wax or polish the car it just get a quick wash to look like new. Pretty much nothing sticks in the summer I just need to jet wash it and dry. I had Car Pro Finest applied by a detailer while the product is pretty cheap all the cost is the prep and application as if it dry half way through being applied it looks a right mess.

Here my car after a year

Peeing on your car as a demonstration is a bit extreme isn't it, unless that's your kink

Another one for your viewing pleasure, You can just make out the tip :D

If that's really after a year of nothing but washing then that's really impressive.

It might be time for me to move on from the paste waxes and get hold of some CQuartz. I'd do it myself though rather than pay a company to do so. Everyone seems to rave about how durable these ceramic coatings are, but the price of some of them is quite alarming  - At least CQuartz doesn't seem too expensive.

The application has a 2 year warranty and you can top it up with a another product called Reloaded but I haven't bothered yet.

Hi,

Just asked for a quote to have my Q5 winter prepped etc from a local detailing firm.

"Hi, winter prep starts at £175, the actual price is hinged on the current condition of the vehicle, heavy duty wax/sealant used as standard ( exterior ) koch chemie products used for interior, upgrades are available at extra cost."

Is this a good fee?
