Few points from the two cards;

- Carly Baker is fit as **** (but then we already knew that)
- Mousasi is a beast, been a fan since he flipped the bird to the fans :p
- Almeida looked great, was an entertaining fight
- Impressive win for Jotko
- Complete domination from Bader
- lol @ Usman calling out Maia

Special mention to the douche in the crowd in Belfast with the UFC tattoo on his neck.

If you want to watch a terrible fight, checkout Michael Page Vs Fernando Gonzales from Bellator 165. Utter snooze fest, bar the clowning around from Page.

Some cracking fights on the Fight Night cards over the weekend! Loved the Volkov vs Johnson war - Volkov can take a punch!!!

About time Little Nog called it a day tbh - Bader absolutely battered him! (And far more emphatically than their first fight, which was one-sided anyway!)

Daniel Cormier out of UFC 206 light-heavyweight title fight with Anthony Johnson due to injury

Daniel Cormier has pulled out of his UFC 206 main event rematch with No.1 contender Anthony "Rumble" Johnson.

The UFC light-heavyweight champion has suffered an injury and will not be able to defend his belt on December 10 in Toronto, Canada.

It is the second time in his last three scheduled bouts that Cormier has had to cancel due to injury, pulling out of his scheduled UFC 197 rematch with Jon Jones in April last year due to a knee problem.

The UFC are reportedly searching for a replacement to fight Anthony Johnson, who has knocked out the three fighters below him in the current light-heavyweight rankings.

Johnson defeated No.5 ranked Glover Teixeira in 13 seconds to earn his shot at the belt and holds first-round stoppage wins over third-ranked Alexander Gustaffson and fourth-ranked Ryan Bader - who beat Antonio Nogueira by TKO at the weekend.

No.6 in the rankings is Jimi Manuwa, who pulled off an impressive knockout victory over Ovince St Preux in Manchester in October.

Real shame for Rumble, wouldn't be surprised if he decides to sit this one out and wait for DC - he's beaten the rest of the division so not much of an up side for him!

It's a shame the division is so thin at the moment - I remember when it was the division to watch - now it's probably the most boring!

Something seriously wrong with AKA and their injury record.

Apparently the new main event is Holloway Vs Pettis for the FW interim title? Not sure how that works, as Aldo is the supposed current 145 interim holder.

Conor about to be stripped, and Aldo bumped up to champ?

I prefer Chrissy Blair.

In the long run I doubt this will matter too much, I don't think Conor had any desire to go back down to 145 again, you could tell it was a very demanding weight cut for him.

Still, I bet he would've wanted to keep hold of the belt for a little bit longer and to give it up on his terms. He won't be happy with the UFC just stripping him of it, and probably even less happy that they've just gifted Aldo it.

People can say that it's the same as Cormier, but it isn't, Cormier fought Johnson for the title.

Feels to me as though because Cormier is off 206 they wanted the main event to be worth something, so they bumped Holloway and Pettis to be for the interim title. Other than to try and make it more appealing from a PPV perspective, what's the point in that? If they're making Aldo the champ why does there need to be an interim belt?

100% this!

There is no earthly reason for Pettis v Holloway to be for any kind of title (Pettis shouldn't even be the same discussion with 3 losses in his last 4 fights!) other than to try and placate the fans who have already bought tickets or ordered the ppv with a "title" bout!

Not sure what the current position is with Aldo - the last I heard he was quitting the UFC/MMA because he wasn't being treated like a king any more!?!?

Aldo v Holloway for the actual title would have made more sense imo!

Aldo has said he wants to defend the belt and then wants a fight with Conor at 155.

Lol, the UFC have never treated Aldo like a king at all, quite the opposite really.

The reason Aldo has been given the belt is because his bout with Edgar at UFC 200 was for the interim championship, with Conor vacating Aldo is the only championship holder in the division - even though it's worthless give Conor starched him.

I really hope they have a rematch someday, at whatever weight.
