I like it, don't know about ambient or what post rock is and what you were even going for it, but on my ipod your piece would be placed between Russian Circle and 80ies cold wave era instrumentals. And in my book that's a good thing.

Post rock in my eyes is mogwai, for a minor reflection, sigur ros etc

The opening parts are more electronic than post rock, so wasn't sure how to Genre them.
