I found old xmas stamps

I found a few old first class stamps with a xmas image and '1st' on it. No monetary value printed. They may be over 2 or 3 years old or more. From what I can gather stamps don't expire. But do they still keep first class status?

AFAIK "1", and "2" class stamps are valid for ever. It is a sort of bought forward contract if you like.
